As I drove past Ardrey Kell High School, I had to do a double take at what was painted on the school's rock. Suddenly, a big smile came over my face as I glanced at it again. COEXIST. Yep, I read it right. Someone gets it!
With all the issues that we face in our world today, this is a refreshing reminder that we can find hope in our youth and their vision to make our world a better place for generations to come.
There's is so much power and wisdom in just this one word. Just think of how different our world would be if we all took this to heart and lived a life that embraced all mankind, regardless of our differences. For we all belong to the the same family: The Human Family, of which we are all created equal.
Can each of us honestly say that we make it a practice to show love, kindness, compassion and acceptance of equality to all?
